Pastor James, this is the new home page. It, and most of the other pages, will be fully updatable through "Blogger" technology. It isn't a perfect way to update content, but it does allow anyone without specialized software or skill to administer the site. As far as the design goes, I've reverted to the old color scheme.
Can you send a little "introduction" to the college for this page? Other than pictures I don't know exactly what needs to go on here. We are sacrificing a little flexiblility layout-wise in return for the user-administration capability I mentioned. Still investigating a way to allow sermon uploads from Zambia. That may not be possible on our budget, but... it may be. At the very least, most of the other pages will be easy to update... by you, or me, or anyone else. It's a matter of typing text, inserting pictures, and clicking "publish". Once again... it's not going to be quite as easy to say... can you move that heading over here, etc. This update system I believe is decent... but it is not infinitely customizable. Joomla is one we could use, which would give us many more layout options, but it would require the purchase of a more sophisticated server plan with different PHP and SQL options. Hopefully this is sufficient. My number one goal is to get the layout finalized, even if it's not perfect, so that Marie and I can get ALL the content up... not just parts of it. Everytime a redesign occurs, much of the content has to be uploaded again. It's almost impossible to change the design... and just leave the content where it is. Anyway... specific pictures and text for the homepage (this page) would be awesome. Thanks, Matt
